Our Internet Policy
PRIVACY
It is the policy of St. Mark's and Putnoe Heights Church not to disclose personal information concerning church members. For this reason, apart from the Ministers, only Christian names of adults are used and no names of children. The only exception to this is information which is already published in other forms, such as in Partnership News. Contact should be made through either the Ministers or the church offices which are open daily 9.00am�5.00pm with an out of hours answering service. You are of course also welcome to use the fax and e-mail facilities.
DISABILITIES
People with disabilities will find that our site seeks to conform to rules for accessibility. Some accessibility technologies make use of the ALT attributes for users with impaired vision. This site is accessible to users with special assistive technology for disabilities.
COPYRIGHT
We have taken extensive steps to ensure that all of our material is authorised for use on this site. Should any breach of copyright have occurred inadvertently, we undertake to remove the offending material immediately. On the understanding that truth is original, discovered and not invented�in the interest of the extension of Christ's Kingdom we authorise those visiting this site who wish to copy any of our own material to do so. This includes our policy documents, sermon material, information on items such as fund-raising and how to develop a Garden of Remembrance. However we would appreciate an e-mail just to let us know so that we can understand ways in which to improve our site and make available more of the things which others find helpful. None of our documents or services are charged for, although when we are asked to post documents such as our baptism, wedding and baptism booklets, employment contracts etc. a contribution towards postage would be appreciated.
TECHNICAL SUPPORT
This
site was established and is maintained by the staff team. We learned the
hard way making mistakes and taking a lot of time. To help other churches
avoid some of the problems and costs involved in establishing a web presence
we are also pleased to offer technical advice to any Christian churches
wishing to establish their own web site.
