Helping you to plan a funeral

Pre-arranged and Pre-paid funerals

Planning your own funeral is something which, quite naturally, you prefer not to think about, let alone actually do, and yet it gives a great deal of comfort and peace of mind for those who are able to make arrangements in advance. Over the years, we have seen many distraught relatives who have been unable to make a decision about some things that were never discussed during the lifetime of the deceased. Recording your wishes within the last will and testament is an option, but we are here to help and advise about the different types of service you will require and can talk about the costs involved, the various ways of paying for a funeral and can discuss the more modern approach of woodland burials, bio-degradable coffins, funerals without religion and many other aspects. It is far better to talk about these arrangements before you have a funeral to organise, because you can think more clearly when you are not upset, and in thinking about these details in advance, you are not tempting fate. We are happy to call and see you in the comfort of your own home to discuss these details. There is no charge for this service.

Paying for the funeral in advance is a different situation altogether. We offer a pre-payment plan for those who wish to do this. Comprehensive details about the funeral will be discussed at the time.

Refreshment Facilities

Refreshments can be prepared on our premises and delivered to the family home or church / village hall where the reception after the funeral is to be held. We offer waitress service where required and supply all crockery and cutlery. We tidy up and leave everything as we found it, to save you the worry at this difficult time. We can discuss your particular requirements when making the funeral arrangements and include the cost on the funeral account.

Grave Maintenance Services

This service is intended to help all those who, for various reasons, are unable to tend their family grave as often as they would like to, but would be comforted by the knowledge that it will always look nice.

We cater for all aspects of the grave including initial planting and continual long-term care. Any existing memorial is a part of our maintenance service.
