In this parish there are two churches which are both Church of England and Methodist. Banns will normally be read at both churches and Published in partnership news our weekly newsletter. If you would like to hear your banns being read, please give the date on which you would like to attend church: this must be in the period three months prior to the wedding. We will begin reading your banns on that date in the main service of morning worship (9:30 am at St. Mark's or 11am at Putnoe Heights). They will then be read on three Sundays and these will usually be consecutive.

When you come to hear your banns, please tell the welcomer at the door when you arrive so that we can ensure that your banns will be read for you. If you don't tell us you may be disappointed if we forget ! (to err is human to forgive divine)

Important Information - Collecting your banns certificate:
Please post or deliver this form through the letterbox at St. Mark's Church, Calder Rise, Bedford MK41 7UY, marking your envelope 'Banns'. If you are to be married at St Mark's or Putnoe Heights, then the charge for the banns certificate is included in the cost. If you are being married elsewhere, then you need to include the fee of £37.00 with this form. Please make your cheque payable to "St. Mark's Church".
